- Implemented a comprehensive school counseling program to a student body of approx. 590 students.
- Participated in weekly Student Study Team meetings to determine 504/IEP eligibility and interventions.
- Coordinated the 504 process and insured implementation of plans.
- Completed observations of students, developed Functional Behavioral Assessments, and created behavioral goals and plans, and assisted in implementation of interventions for Tier 1 students.
- Taught meaningful classroom guidance lessons to 24 classrooms each week.
- Met with individual students and small groups regarding skill development and emotional support.
- Supervised social work interns from George Fox University (one in 2012-13; two in 2013-14).
- Attended Professional Development (YogaCalm, CPI, MANDT, and Motivational Interviewing) to develop skills.
- Coordinated community programs such as the Giving Tree, food drives, Big Bruins mentoring, Love Inc food bags, and Kids Helping Kids fund raisers (including getting slimed at assemblies!).
- Teamed to plan and lead weekly character assemblies for the student body.
- Supervised K-1 cafeteria and playground duty daily.
- Served as OAKS testing coordinator.
